| GMM Pfaudler in technical collaboration with Edlon has a unique method of fabrication, combined with the excellent corrosion resistance of Polyterafluoroethylene (PTFE), which makes pipe liners the most corrosion resistance lining available today.
Isotatic molding allows uniform compression from all sides of the Mold. To make our pipe liners, we fill a mold with PTFE resin, separate it with a flexible membrance, and then pressurise it through a compressible fluid medium. This yields a high quality tube with a number of improved features over liners produced by ram or paste extrusion.
Some advantages offered are:
- Use of 100% virgin PTFE assures corrosion and temperature resistance upto 177°C.
- Isostatic molding creates uniform high density wall along full length of the liner.
- Low microporosity allows less permeation.
- Dielectric testing of PTFE Lined pipes at 50,000 volts and of FEP lined pipe fittings at 10,000 volts.
- Heavy duty liner allows greater corrosion and permeation protection.
- Availability of custom ID′s / Od′s.
