Electric Motor
415 Volts 3 phase 50 Hz flame proof motor Suitable for ignition temperature group T1 to T6 as per IS6381 – 1972. Other motors including increase safety, non-sparking are available on request.

Gear Box
Heavy Duty Worm Gear units offered as standard. Helical, cyclo or planetary gears can be offered as an option.
 


Coupling
Either directly coupled or through pulley arrangement with antistatic V Belt.
 


Lantern Stool
Design for easy access to agitator, muff coupling and mechanical seal.

Mechanical Seal
Single Dry Seal or Double Mechanical Seal with thermosyphon lubrication system. Seal faces are nonmetallic and based on Pfaudler design. mech_seal.jpg (8032 bytes)

Agitator

Careful assembly alignment of the agitator and Mechanical Seal ensures small run out.

Clamps
Forged clamps designed for high performance and pressure retention.
 



Gaskets
PTFE Envelope with CAF inserts and corrugated stainless steel support rings. The PTFE is made from Virgin Teflon resin and is designed to withstand 10,000 volts. Pfaudler AF 2000 asbestos free inserts are available as on Option.
 



Shell
Standard design pressure is 6 bar or full vacuum and temperature of –25 deg. C to +200 deg. C Shell material is as per DIN 17155H/EN 10028-2 P235 GH or equivalent and stamped by Lloyds or imported from Steel Mills in Germany / UK Accredited by ASME for "U" Stamp, the Shell can be designed for pressure upto 30 bar and temperature from 200 deg. C to –80 deg. C

Jacket
Designed for a pressure of 6 bar or full vacuum. Made from SA 516 Grade 60 or DIN 17155H1/EN 10028-2 P235 GH or equivalent. Jacket suitable for thermic fluids with higher operating pressures is available on request. For better heat transfer provisions ask for Limpet half tube coil, agitating nozzle, split jacket design.

Jacket Nozzle
For inlet/outlet on heating and cooling media, heat transfer capabilities on jacket nozzle are available as an option. Contact our nearest GMM Pfaudler office for proper selection.

Baffle  
Bat type baffle with temperature sensing facility available as standard. Tantalum tip available as an option. Other type of baffles as well as specialised designs for temperature measurement with quick response is available on request. See section on instrumentation for further option .
 


Instrumentation
The following probes are available for :
a) P Probes - Continuous monitoring of glass condition
b) pH Probe - Measurement of pH
c) T/TW Probe - Temperature measurement
d) F/FS Probe - Level measurement
e) Quatro Probe - For measurement of temperature, baffle, thermowell and immersion tube.

pH Probes  
phprobe.jpg (7740 bytes) In situ pH probe eliminates product sampling and analysis outside the reactor. Suitable for pH measurement even in severe operating conditions resulting in reduced process downtime.

Bottom Outlet Valve

Manhole
Spring loaded assist mechanism helps in opening and closing of Manhole Cover.
 

Paint
Epoxy Redoxide paint provided as standard. Ask for two part Epoxy paint or amerilock 400 as optional offer, for highly corrosive environment.
 


 
Nozzles
Made from forged titanium stabilised steel.

ffsprobe.gif (16518 bytes) Quick response temperature sensing with extremely low half-valve period (2.0 sec) which permits rapid process control reactors. Maximum operational reliability due to complete absence of sealing element.
A thermo couple or Pt 100 resistant thermometer (type T/TW) is used into the glass lining which permits spot measurement or product temperature.
