A Story of Innovation & Craftsmanship - Since 1949.
Forged in 1949 at our Pfaudler Balfour workshop in Leven, Scotland, this stainless-steel fermenter was commissioned by Arthur Guinness Son & Co. - designed to hold an incredible 86,400 pints of Guinness.
More than seven decades later, it’s back in the spotlight - featured in House of Guinness, now streaming on Netflix.
From hand-shaped alloy plates to precision flanging and corrosion-resistant design, this project reflects the same spirit of innovation and craftsmanship that still drives Pfaudler today.
📽️ Our archives tell the story: a journey from workshop to brewery.
The reference to Netflix and Guinness is purely informative.
