HARI has built the largest ceramic membrane system on fermentation broth
HARI has built and started up a plant for antibiotics production. The complete installation is composed by a step of ceramic ultrafiltration for the fermentation broth clarification followed by a nanofiltration system for the activity concentration. The ultrafiltration section is one of the largest ceramic membrane system worldwide for this kind of application, having approx 6,000 m2 area installed.
